What to Expect?

At Knollwood, people matter, and all are welcome. We invite you to experience community, get help, make friends and celebrate life here. Whether you’re married, single, single-again, a parent or a young adult – you matter to us.

Knollwood is a place you can call home and experience God in a real way within a community of other imperfect people.  A relationship with God is the basis of all we do and we want others to experience this as well. Maybe you are seeking answers about God, a Christian looking to go deeper in faith, or maybe you don’t like church at all – you will find your home here at Knollwood.

What should I wear?

Whether you come in a three-piece suit or jeans and a t-shirt, there is no dress code for our worship services–we just want to see you here! We do ask that your clothing choice is respectful of others regarding modesty and not distracting to anyone’s worship experience.

What is the worship gathering like?

You can expect to hear a compelling sermon instilled with a strong Biblical foundation and a focus on the Gospel. You can also expect engaging songs aimed at glorifying God and inspiring people. We value truth over trend, authenticity over performance, relationship over results, excellence over perfection, relevance over tradition, creativity over complacency, and Christ above all else.

How long are the worship services?

Our services last approximately 80 minutes. Sometimes a service may go longer, but we strive to keep services at this length of time.

What about childcare?

Free, competent and caring childcare is offered for babies in the lower level of the church and for toddlers across the alley from the church in our education building.

Children’s Church

This is a special optional worship experience for children. Kids up through 6th grade are invited to attend this experience. Again, this is optional for parents – children are always welcome to be part of the main service as well.   The children will leave right before the sermon time and will be led by adult volunteers across the alley to our education building.  You are always welcome to go with them and see what creative and age appropriate activities they participate in.
