Being Self Giving
Today’s sermon is really an extension of last week’s sermon in which we talked about how to become “grace-full” people.  Today is really the practical application of that principle.  Today we’re discovering how to be “self-giving” individuals as we follow the model of Jesus. Note:  Sermon Audio is missing - please look at sermon notes.

    Being Grace Filled
Today we’re looking at the third aspect of learning to love like Jesus.  This third aspect is, according to C.S. Lewis, what distinguishes Christianity from all other religions.  It’s also an action an attitude that will cut across all barriers and often open a door to tell others about Jesus.  It’s called being grace-full.

    Approachable
Last week we began this series on Learning to Love Like Jesus with the importance of “noticing” people around you. But noticing someone and their needs isn’t enough. We also need to interact with them. And so today, we’re looking inward and discovering how to become a person who others would want to interact with by being “Approachable”.

    Noticing
Today we begin a new sermon series in which we’ll be discovering 5 important ways that Jesus showed God’s love to others. The goal of the series is that we might become more effective at demonstrating God’s love through our lives. Today we begin with the principle of “noticing” others and Jesus was amazing at this. He noticed many people who were often overlooked by others and reached out and showed them God’s love in very practical ways.
