Knollwood Christian Church has been a light for God in our community and people's lives since 1965. Over the years we have been actively involved in making a difference in our community through our support of St. Louis Park Emergency Program (STEP) as well as offering a safe youth center for neighborhood kids to come and hang out. We're committed to helping families make great memories together as evidenced by the many carnivals we've offered as well as movie nights and our popular Drive By Easter and Christmas events. It's also been our privilege to make a difference in people's lives by forming a Christian community based on love for God and love for one another. Over the years many people have been blessed as they've discovered a place where they can be loved unconditionally and develop deep friendships of encouragement and support. Knollwood is committed to studying, preaching and applying the Biblical principles in a relevant understandable manner. And as a non-denominational church you'll find that we have people from many different religious backgrounds that have come together in unity to worship God and grow in Him together. Pastor's Reflections
It has been my pleasure to have been the minister at Knollwood since 1990. But my history with Knollwood goes back much further than that. Both my wife, Connie, and myself were here at the church from it's beginning back in 1965. Both of our parents were some of the original founding members. As a result many of our very best memories in life come from our experiences sharing life together with our family of friends here at Knollwood. Over the years we've experienced tears and laughter, life and death together and through it all we've grown closer to God and to one another. Connie and I have thoroughly enjoyed being married since 1978 and our lives have been blessed with three children and now two grandchildren. Our home has been filled with lots of laughter through the years and many others have experienced that joy for themselves first hand as they've spent time in our home and around us. One of my greatest passions in life is to be used by God to help people come alive in Him. To open up God's word and share it in practical and understandable ways each week is a privilege I continually thank God for. And to watch God grab a hold of people's lives and draw them ever closer to Himself is worth every minute of ministry I labor in love at. |
